TERRORISTS or HOBBITS?

As you may have guessed, This blog focuses on a movement called the  TEA PARTY.  

What is it ?     let's start with what it's not.  It'd not a political party, at least not at the moment.   It is a mind-set, a movement.  The TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already.  It is a Reaganesque small government movement.

Why  did John McCain call them Hobbits and Democrat talking heads call themTerrorists?   Because they are big government  Tax/Spend Politicians that are afraid to see them gain popularity at the status Quo

Party politics

For  over 200 years, the political scene has been dominated by either the Democrat or Republican Party.  The Libertarian Party has grown in size over the past decade but is still pretty much a non-factor in elections.   The major influence in most elections are folks like myself, staunch IndependentsMost of us are centrisys.  I am a center-right voter depending on the issue.   I never vote straight-party line on national or state elections.  I  actually research the candidates & issues and then vote my conscience.

MY VIEWS

This blog will cover general Political topics.   Some will be opinion driven  from my point of view ans others will be information sharing driven.  I'm unsure how often I   will publish but with the current political  climate, I imagine it will be on a regular basis.   I highly encourage commentary from both my conservative and Liberal friends.  Just remember, it's not personal, it's just politics.    For the Record, I do not belong to any party.  I am one of the true honest to goodness  independents.   You will see that I am a Constitutionalisr traditional conservative with an  open mind.
