TRUTH ABOUT the TEA PARTY
Some just don't know and others purposely disparage the TEA PARTY for political gain. So let's take a simple look. First, it is NOT a political party. It is a movement that consists of like-minded folks. the TEA is an acronym standing for Taxed Enough Already. a smaller, less obtrusive government that runs on Constitutional guidelines is the goal. There are no official stances on hot social topics like abortion or gay marriage. a fiscal agenda is the reason for it's existence. Now, there are individuals within the movement that have personal stances on these and other social issues. Racism? sure, there are some individuals that wear this label, just as they exist in all groups, However, the movement in and of it's self is NOT racist. Any open-minded and clear thinking person will see this as fact. I hope this short blog helps you. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

OBAMA's JOBs SPEECH
This blog will focus on the president's speech and subsequent peaches on his current "tour". Since there is no physical Jobs bill released yet, I can only write about what he has said.
The first thing that struck me in his speech to congress was that he said "Pass this bill Now!" 17 times. SEVENTEEN times! The last time he addressed the nation and pushed a bill this hard, We ended up with a health care bill rammed down our throats with very little openness. This will be more difficult because his party no longer controls both houses of congress. which of course sets up the inevitable Democrat spin that the GOP (house) are obstructing and keeping people from working. Funny how whichever party doesn't get their way, the other party must be obstructionists just because they disagree. The real bottom line here is to ignore the campaigning and rhetoric to see the actual detailed Jobs Bill. Then we can look at it closely and see what's what. Stay tuned for my assessment at that time.

President Obama
OK, I've been asked by several folks to give my view of the President. Well here it is. I don't know him personally so I can't say I dislike HIM as a person, but I will say that it is my belief that he ranks at or near the bottom of all presidents in leadership. It's my opinion that he's still "voting present" much as he did as an Illinois state legislator and U.S. Senator. His lack of willingness to commit to a position is one example of his lack of leadership & experience.
Now I'll tackle the crazy talk. I doubt seriously that he is either a Muslim or born in Kenya. Those are non issues to me. The biggest threat he presents is his strong belief in a bigger, more controlling federal government. That other stuff is just a distraction. one of two things needs to happen, either he is voted out of office or some common sense Republicans are elected to control the senate. This way, there will be no more ramming of big government policies down the folks' throats. just my opinion, what's tour's ?
